It is the end of the second week since the orange barrels have appeared on 14 mile in West Bloomfield. From Farmington Road to Drake the southside is dug up; from Farmington Road to Orchard Lake road there is just a lane shift to the north, but no real construction yet. Yesterday I drove west on Farmington Road and encountered no real backups.
Northbound Farmington road between 13 mile and 14 mile roads is closed, with detours posted. This road is going to be closed for the summer.
