I find it a bit surprising that there seems to be so little publicity about NASA’s latest exploration of Mars, which is going on right now. Is the fact that we are exploring Mars become such old news?

I’ve been following the updates of the Mars expedition on Twitter, and the information is fascinating. One thing I noticed while watching the control room video of the landing is how young many of the people in the room are. My memories of the space exploration are of older people, but I guess that may say more about my age than about the people at NASA.
