I have two issues with the OnHub. One is that Google suggests because it looks nice, people will more likely put it in visible places, such as one’s living room. However, you still need a CAT5 cable from your cable modem to the OnHub. Who has their cable modem or CAT5 in their living room?
Next, most routers have 4 CAT5 network ports, the OnHub has none, just one port to connect to your cable modem. I use and need all four ports.
In all, it’s an intriguing product but to me not practical as a network router.
