I have never understood how there can be debate within the U.S. government on marriage equality. To me it’s a clear first amendment issue. Truth is, if your church today refuses to perform or recognize same sex marriage today, it can and will continue to do so tomorrow. Just as your church can, if it does, refuse to recognize divorces. Yet, same sex couples will be able to get married. Ask yourself, how can this be? I need to write more on this.
