Blogging From An iPad

Previously I wrote that I now own an iPad in my first post to my blog from said iPad. I wrote that post using the WordPress web interface, and I am now writing this second blog post using the WordPress app for the iPad.

To do the writing I am using the Apple wireless keyboard, connected via Bluetooth to my iPad, with the iPad in landscape mode inside an Incase convertible book jacket case. This setup will work well for writing, though one problem that I see with the WordPress app is that it doesn’t provide tools for adding html markup, I have enter hmtl codes (links, etc..) manually into what I write.

This is the first time that I have used the Apple wireless keyboard, and I am impressed. The keys on the keyboard are sufficiently spaced to make touch-typing a breeze. Typing on this keyboard is better than typing on the Asus 1000HE keyboard.

There are other blogging apps in the iPad app store and I wonder whether they provide any html markup features? I may have to do some research.
