Notes From The Cave

Last night Ruth and I went to Birmingham, MI and watched fireworks. We figure these are the closest fireworks to our house, and the first time we have seen them. They were at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course, just down the road on Fourteen Mile. We were pleasantly surprised by the length of the show, which was right on the golf course. We sat at the top of hill near the road though we could have gone further out on the fairways and been right under the show. At 8:20 we left our house and got to the course around 8:50 PM; we did have nearly a mile walk so it probably would have been better to leave earlier. It would have also been better if we had approached the golf course from the east as parking is on the north side of the road.
