What if I did this "old school" and created a post per day with random stuff, which is how I use my day notes? The upside is that I would get off Dave's hosting for my day notes. The downside is I would have to use a different editor (Wordland) rather than Drummer, which is very ironic!
I found where I can edit categories, so I created the Daynotes category and added it to this post.
What if there was a way for a user to define a template for a new post? For example, it could be nice that when I click to add a new post the title would be pre-populated with the current date after checking to be sure I didn't already create a post with that title.

One big difference between the daily notes written in Drummer and published/hosted by OldSchool is that every paragraph/post has link whereas that is note the case here. Compare this with this.
