It’s shocking to me that so many Christians could read this article and not realize that Jesus enountered this problem and taught the answer. We Christians do not live out what Jesus taught, and thus provide no example to and have no moral authority with those with whom we occupy this planet.
P.S. Note that Jesus did not say, “love your neighbor like you love yourself,” he said something even more profound, “love your neighbor as yourself.” You are a part of me that I do not yet know.
