It is really nice and warm (nearly 50 degrees) outside, and while I was walking this afternoon it occurred to me that I should be excited about the upcoming baseball season, with pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training. Alas, because the MLB has locked out the players, causing a shutdown and therefore we don’t know when the season will start.
