• I’ve been down this road three times before, and I am not going to lie, it hurts. A small consolation is that the Cubs were never in the series, the Mets played a perfect series. What I have never seen is the Cubs bounce back the season after losing in the LCS to compete for a chance to be in the playoffs again. This Cubs team has much more talent than the 84, 89, and 03 teams so I am hopeful that they will be good next year too. It was a lot of fun watching the Cubbies this summer!
