I thought of you when I read this quote from “Undiluted: Rediscovering the Radical Message of Jesus” by Benjamin L. Corey –
“When we pretend that we have all the answers and cling to our black and whiteness, we find that we are not clinging to Jesus himself but are instead clinging to our own assumed knowledge and confidence. The radical message of Jesus is that we can let go of our idolatry of certainty and instead embrace a new identity as people who are wrestling and growing, learning and unlearning, changing and morphing as we navigate the twists and turns of life. We’re never going to have this completely figured out, and the beauty is that we were never meant to.”
